Why am I receiving Unable to File tax notices when I have already updated all of my tax information?
When filing for the most recent quarter, Namely actions the tax records as they appear in Namely Payroll. At the time of filing, there was a mismatch between the jurisdiction's records & Namely's.
What is the latest date I can update tax information to ensure Namely can file?
In most cases, the deadline is the final week of the quarter.
Why are we being asked to provide an ID if we have no employees working in that state?
This occurs when the jurisdiction is active in your company's tax section within Namely Payroll or you have an employee coded for this tax.
How can I prevent getting communications like this in the future?
Review your company's tax setup within Namely payroll at least every quarter & ensure that the data is completely up to date.
